Portland brawl sends 4 to hospital; police investigating

There was no immediate word on the severity of injuries, though the fight appeared to have involved knives and blunt weapons

PORTLAND — Portland police are investigating a brawl at the corner of Oxford and Alder streets that sent four people to the hospital on Monday afternoon.

There was no immediate word on the severity of injuries, though the fight appeared to have involved knives and blunt weapons.

Police said the fight broke out around 1 p.m.
