York field hockey team remains unbeaten with 4-0 win

YORK – York High School's unbeaten field hockey team continued to impress Monday with a 4-0 win against Fryeburg Academy in Class B action.

York improved to 7-0. Fryeburg is 4-3.

Senior Taylor Simpson had a goal and two assists to lead the York offense, with Devon Datsis, Alexandra Jones and Sarah Panteleos also scoring goals.

Wildcat goalie Olivia Golini earned her sixth shutout with five saves as York held a 10-5 edge in shots and a 17-3 advantage in penalty corners.
