Accident slows traffic on I-295

PORTLAND - A multi-car accident is slowing northbound traffic on I-295 in the area of Tukey's Bridge.

A State Police dispatcher said an accident near exit 9 is backing up traffic but the road remains open.

As of 10:30 a.m., the accident had been cleared.
