Photos: Shaker Hill Apple Festival in Alfred rolls around again

The Shaker Hill Apple Festival in Alfred opened Saturday and continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the former Alfred Shaker Village, now owned by the Brothers of Christian Instruction.

The festival raises money for the Alfred Shaker Museum, York County Shelter Programs and other causes.

The event features 50 craft booths, a silent auction, free antique car rides and apple and pumpkin picking at Gile's Family Farm.
