WEST POINT, N.Y. - Trent Steelman rushed for 141 yards and scored three times, including a 29-yard touchdown run with 45 seconds left, and Army beat Boston College 34-31 on Saturday to snap an eight-game losing streak.
Bruising fullback Larry Dixon had 128 yards and a touchdown on just 13 carries, and Daniel Grochowski kicked two field goals for Army (1-4), which finished with 516 yards rushing and held the ball for more than 37 minutes.
Alex Amidon's 24-yard touchdown had given Boston College (1-4) a 31-27 lead with 6:11 left.
WESTERN MICHIGAN 52, MASSACHUSETTS 14: Tyler Van Tubbergen threw five touchdown passes and ran for a score as the Broncos (3-3, 1-1 MAC) beat the Minutemen (0-6, 0-3) at Kalamazoo, Mich.

JAMES MADISON 13, TOWSON 10: Justin Thorpe's 9-yard touchdown run with 1:24 remaining gave the Dukes (4-1, 2-0 CAA) a win over the Tigers (2-3, 1-1) at Harrisonburg, Va.
BROWN 17, RHODE ISLAND 7: Cody Taulbee scored the first two touchdowns of his career to lead the Bears (3-1) past the Rams (0-5) at Kingston, R.I.
