Bowdoin improves to 8-1 with 5-0 shutout of Husson

Adrienne O'Donnell scored a pair of goals and Katie Riley added one goal and two assists to lead Bowdoin to a 6-0 field hockey victory over Husson on Tuesday night at Brunswick.

Rachel Kennedy chipped in one goal and one assist for the Polar Bears (8-1) and Hannah Gartner made five saves for the shutout.

Kaitlin Dolloff finished with 31 saves for Husson (7-4).

Hayley LaPointe scored with just over 11 minutes left to break a 3-3 tie and help the University of New England (7-4) to a 5-3 victory over Gordon College at Biddeford.

Erin Bibber added an insurance goal with 1:41 to play, getting behind the defense on the left to score after collecting a long pass from Hannah Tavella.
