Cape football improves to 2-0

The Capers are now 2-0 after stopping Falmouth at Gull Crest Field Saturday. The final score was 27-2, with all of Cape’s scoring was in the first quarter. Bogie Foden scored on a 27-yard pass from Jim Bump (Ian Wallace kicked the PAT); T. Foden returned a punt 32 yards (Wallace extra point good); Sean Meagher scored on a one-yard run (Wallace kick good); Tucker Emerson wrapped up Cape’s scoring with a 20-yard pass reception from Bump (Wallace kick failed). Falmouth’s only points came in the third 3rd quarter on a fumble recovery in end zone that resulted in a two-point safety.
