Val Jacobs, longtime senior coordinator for Scarborough Community Services, will be roasted by her friends and colleagues on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at noon at the Hillcrest Community Center, 108 Hillcrest Ave., Scarborough
Jacobs is moving to a another position, and her duties as senior coordinator will be taken over by a different employee. Jacobs has been dedicated to the Senior Series, its programming and its board.
All seniors are welcome to the lunch and roast. Doors open at 11 a.m. Reservations for lunch, which is $3, must be made by Monday, Feb. 5. Call Nancy at 883-4476.
