On Saturday, April 14, bicycling enthusiasts are invited to participate in a 50-mile ride on the Eastern Trail’s Saco to Wells loop. The pace of riding will be between 10 and 12 miles per hour. Some side trips for sightseeing will also be offered.
Meet at the Saco Downeaster parking lot for the 8:30 a.m. start. Bring water and snacks and be sure to wear a helmet. The ride will go off regardless of the weather.
Those looking for a shorter ride – 25 miles – should meet at 9 a.m. at 281 Mountain Road in Arundel. The leader of the shortened ride is Ethan Davis.
