Until recently, child-care issues were on employees’ minds as they struggled to balance work and personal life. With the aging population, though, workers increasingly cite elder care as their biggest concern.
Employers need to be aware of the challenges this presents, not only to their employees, but to their businesses, as well. Bill Jenks, owner of Home Instead Senior Care, will address this at a Scarborough Community Chamber membership meeting, Thursday, April 12, from 7:30-9 a.m., at the Scarborough Public Library. A continential breakfast will be served.
The program is free. For more information, contact Martina Duncan
