The Scarborough 11-12 softball All Star team wrapped up their unforgettable season with a trip to Fenway Park on Sept. 14 The girls were honored by the Red Sox as part of Maine Day at Fenway.
The team was also honored by the Scarborough town council on Sept. 17. The girls completed the season winning the New England Little League Championship, becoming the first 11-12 softball team from Maine to do so. The players on the team are: Alyssa Williamson, Erin Giles, Brenna Kent, Sydney Litrocapes, Marisa O’Toole, Grace Farnkoff, Kate Daniels, Daniel Plummer, Shannon Mars, Samantha Sparda, Paige Moore – Haskell and Emily Carpenter.
