Arrests

4/23 at 12:05 a.m. Emma Hockmuth, 18, of Beach Bluff Terrace, was arrested by Officer Christopher Burgess on a charge of operating under the influence.

4/24 at 4:30 a.m. Anthony Welch, 19, of Two Lights Road, was arrested on Two Lights Road on a charge of operating without a license.

4/25 at 12:36 a.m. John Crosby, 36, of Woodland Road, was arrested by Officer Aaron Webster on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Crossed wires

4/21 At around 2 p.m., an officer discovered a box of wire in the roadway on Route 77 near Charles E. Jordan Road. The box was labeled as non-metallic support telephone drop wire. The box of cable has been tagged, photographed, and placed in the sally port at the police station.

4/24 Mid-afternoon, police met with a Shore Road area resident regarding the theft of his snowblower. It’s described as a red and black Yard Machine, four years old, and valued at $500.
