North Yarmouth Academy is offering a summer basketball camp for boys and girls entering the 5th through 8th grades, Aug. 3 through 7. The camp is limited to 20 and includes lunch, a T-shirt, workout booklet and a personal evaluation. FMI, nya.org.
Mainely Stars field hockey camp taking registration
The Mainely Stars field hockey camp, for players entering grades 2 through 12, will be held July 6 through 9 at Greely High School. Directed by Greely varsity coach Kristina Lane Prescott and featuring special guest, Bowdoin coach Nicky Pearson, the camp will provide a fun, challenging atmosphere. First annual lacrosse refereeing camp scheduled
The first annual Midcoast Lacrosse Refereeing Camp will be held July 6 through 9 at Bowdoin College. Times are 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. the first three days and 11 a.m., to 3 p.m. on July 9. Directed by Mary Parker and Sue Perkins, the camp features classroom instruction, mechanics, game tape analysis, rules clarification, extensive on-field mentoring and more. Odyssey Sport tryouts upcoming

Fitness, fun camp for kids opens in Yarmouth
Riverview Physical Therapy is introducing a new wellness camp for boys and girls entering grades 2-6 called CampFit. An athletic trainer and physical therapist will lead the camp in personalized fitness games and outdoor activities. The 4-week camp starts July 20 and will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9-10:30 a.m., July 20-Aug. 14 at 50 Forest Falls Drive, Yarmouth.
