Jury selection is under way today for the attempted murder trial of a Standish woman.

Linda Dolloff is accused of beating her husband in the head with a baseball bat, then shooting herself in an attempt to make it look like a home invasion.

Daniel Lilley represents Dolloff, and Cumberland County District Attorney Stephanie Anderson is representing the state. The trial is scheduled to begin with opening arguments on April 21 at Superior Court in Portland.

Jeffrey Dolloff was attacked on Easter morning of last year, inside the home he shared with his wife in Standish.

Linda Dolloff was arrested June 17 on charges of attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault and making a false public report.
