Hanley paces Falmouth to 11-4 victory over Cape Elizabeth in boys’ lacrosse opener
Dan Hanley scored five goals and Nick Bachman added three as Falmouth started its boys’ lacrosse season with an 11-4 win Friday at Cape Elizabeth.
Cam Bell made 15 saves for the Yachtsmen.
Tim Takach and Teddy Smith had two goals each, and Jack Roos stopped 10 shots for the Capers.
• Steven Petrovek had three goals and an assist, and Colby Shields and Nick Ronan each scored twice as Yarmouth opened with an 11-5 win over visiting North Yarmouth Academy.
Forrest Milburn scored twice for NYA.
