BIDDEFORD – Audrey Grinnell drove in three runs with a double and home run, leading Cheverus to a 6-4 win over Biddeford in an SMAA softball game Friday.

Grinnell’s two-run homer in the bottom of the third gave Cheverus (9-3) a 3-1 lead.

Theresa Hendrix added three hits, including a double, and scored three runs.

Sarah Gilblair had three hits for Biddeford (8-4).

MARSHWOOD 8, DEERING 6: The Hawks (4-9) took advantage of five errors to score seven runs in the first inning, then held off the Rams (4-8) at South Berwick.

Chelsea Watson had an RBI single in the first inning, and Sammy Crossman and Sophie White each drove in a run with a groundout.

Netta Brown had a triple and two singles for Deering.

SOUTH PORTLAND 10, PORTLAND 5: Kaylee Swiger’s two-run homer capped a six-run first inning for the Red Riots (12-1) against the Bulldogs (1-10) at Portland.

Portland committed four of its 10 errors in the first inning.

Brittany Harrison had three hits and two RBI for South Portland.

Maggie Kilbride homered for the Bulldogs.

KENNEBUNK 18, GORHAM 6: Carinn Burns drove in four runs and score three times for Kennebunk (10-2) in a win at Gorham (2-10).

Alex Leonardi had three hits for Kennebunk, which scored seven runs in the second inning and seven more in the seventh.

Annie Mitchell homered and Grace Sunnell had two hits and two RBI for Gorham.

NOBLE 10, WESTBROOK 0: Justina Shorey hit a two-run single and Hayley Junkins had a two-run double as the Knights (3-10) rolled past the Blue Blazes (2-10) at North Berwick.

SANFORD 10, MASSABESIC 1: Faith Crosby threw a seven-hitter and had two hits and an RBI for the Redskins (8-4) in a win over the Mustangs (3-9) at Waterboro.

Amanda Hunter contributed a single, a double and two RBI for Sanford, which scored nine unanswered runs over the final three innings.

Meryl Richardson drove in Massabesic’s run with a single in the second inning.

FREEPORT 4, YARMOUTH 3: Dani Perry’s RBI single capped a three-run rally in the top of the seventh inning as the Falcons (3-8) beat the Clippers (7-6) at Yarmouth.

Yarmouth led 3-0 after four innings. The Falcons got one back in the sixth, then Helen Humphrey led off the seventh with a single and scored on a double by Andrea Grant. Grant scored the tying run on Lee Wyman’s single.

Julie Dursema had a single and two doubles for Yarmouth.

YORK 2, WELLS 0: Alex Rennie struck out six batters and walked three while tossing a two-hitter as the Wildcats (9-4) shut out the Warriors (6-5) at York.

York scored its runs in the bottom of the third. Chelsea Hutchings singled home Alex Haight and later scored on Kelsey Elsmore’s fielder’s choice

Wells pitcher Kelsey Bragdon allowed four hits, struck out six and walked four.

CAPE ELIZABETH 12, FALMOUTH 1: Lexi Cantara and Delaney Rockwell each had three hits and three RBI to lead the Capers (5-7) past the Yachtsmen (4-7) at Falmouth.

Ally Boyington struck out two and walked one while pitching a three-hitter. Cape Elizabeth broke the game open with a six-run sixth.

Falmouth scored in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Sarah Collmus.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 13, LAKE REGION 0: Laura Getchell struck out 13 and walked one in a three-hitter, and Abby Ryan had two doubles, a triple and six RBI to lead the Patriots (9-2) past the Lakers (3-9) at Naples.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 20, ROCKLAND 4: Kasey Benner had two doubles, a triple and seven RBI to lead the Panthers (9-2) past the Tigers (1-12) in a five-inning game at Rockland.

GEORGES VALLEY 10, LISBON 0: Bethany Snow was 3 for 4 with a double, a triple and three RBI, and Danielle Frye tossed a two-hitter to lead the Buccaneers (11-0) past the Greyhounds (10-3) at Lisbon Falls.

Kennadi Grover added two hits and three RBI.

SACOPEE VALLEY, OLD ORCHARD BEACH SPLIT: Amy Twohig drew a bases-loaded walk to cap a six-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning as Old Orchard Beach pulled out a 14-13 victory at home after losing the opener, 12-0.

Tiana Zukowski had a two-run single during the winning rally to go along with an RBI single earlier in the game. She also had a single and a double in the first game.

Liz Moulton pitched a four-hitter for Sacopee Valley in the opener.

LACROSSE

CHEVERUS 12, KENNEBUNK 10: Brianna Amato had five goals and two assists for the Stags (7-3), who overcame a three-goal deficit in the second half to beat the Rams (7-3) at Portland.

Taylor Crowley’s fourth goal of the game put Kennebunk ahead 9-6 with 15:23 remaining, but Cheverus answered with a 4-0 run over the next five minutes. Sage Witham scored the go-ahead goal with 10:36 left.

Grace Franson scored three times and Emily Van Duzer had four assists for Cheverus.

Camille Auger had two goals and four assists for Kennebunk.

BIDDEFORD 10, NOBLE 9: Mallory Morin had three goals, including the winner in the sixth overtime, and Jackie McCurry had two goals for the Tigers (1-9) against the Knights (0-10) at North Berwick.

Carson Waterman scored six goals, Stephanie Ruger added two and China Page stopped 31 shots for Noble.

BONNY EAGLE 17, DEERING 11: Kate Boyer scored eight goals to pace the Scots (3-6) past the Rams (3-6-1) at Standish.

Kari Christensen added three goals for Bonny Eagle.

Deering was led by Monique Guimond with four goals.

SANFORD 15, MCAULEY 10: Sarah Alexander scored seven goals and Haley Nordmann added five to lead Sanford (6-3) past visiting McAuley (3-7).

Tori Tenenbaum had four goals and Clare McLaughlin scored three for McAuley.

SCARBOROUGH 13, THORNTON ACADEMY 5: Ellie Morin and Kelsey Howard scored three goals apiece to lead the Red Storm (9-0) to a win over the Trojans (5-2) at Saco.

Erin Kany paced Thornton with three goals.
