PORTLAND — Maine energy officials say the average price of heating oil in the state is unchanged from a week ago.

The Governor’s Office of Energy Independence and Security’s weekly oil survey found the average price of heating oil Monday was $2.76 a gallon.

The lowest prices were in southwestern Maine, while northern Maine had the highest prices.

Officials said kerosene was selling for $3.11 a gallon on average Monday, up 2 cents from last week.

Propane also rose 2 cents a gallon, and was selling for $2.65 a gallon.
