U2 Eucharist, 7 p.m., service with the music of the rock band U2, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 12 Hodge St., Wiscasset. The service will benefit organizations whose goals are compatible with the Millennium Development Goals.

There will be a silent auction including Buddhist art and photographs from Ladakh; an informal talk by the school’s founder, Khen Rinpoche Lobzang Tsetan; and regional food and music.
