Police today issued an arrest warrant for the man they say stole 78 computers from the new Ocean Avenue Elementary School.
Police say they are looking for Brian J. Berry, 31, of 38 Irving St. on charges of burglary and theft.

Lt. Gary Rogers said Berry was not home when they executed a search warrant Friday night at 38 Irving St. and recovered 61 of the 78 iMac or MacBook computers. Detectives have spoken to him by telephone but he refused to turn himself in, Rogers said.
Rogers said the computers that were recovered filled the back of the evidence technician van and a station wagon.
Police are still trying to recover the missing 17 computers and said failure to return them could lead to felony theft charges.
The computers were reported stolen on Thursday but police later learned that Berry had taken them over a period of time, they said.
