Mike Arsenault, Gorham, senior
Arsenault is our MVP for boys’ golf. He won the Class A individual title by shooting a 72 on Oct. 16 and led the Rams to the Class A state title a week earlier with a 78.
Kyle Bourassa, Cheverus, senior
Bourassa shot a 79 to lead the Stags to fourth place in the team states and shot an 81 in the Class A individual tournament. He had a 36.7-stroke average.
Connor Burfeind, Falmouth, senior
Burfeind led the Yachtsmen to the Class B state title with a 74. He shot an 82 in the Class B individual tournament.
Ian Gervais, Houlton, senior
Gervais tied for second in the Class C individual tournament with a 75. He led Houlton to the Class C state title the previous week with a 77.
James Jackson, Belfast, junior
A repeat All-State selection, Jackson shot 75 in the Class B team championship and an 82 in the individual tournament.
Jordan Jones, Wiscasset, junior
Jones tied for second in the Class C individual tournament with a 75. He played No. 1 for Wiscasset. He had a 37-stroke average.
Greg Martin, Ellsworth, junior
Martin captured the Class B state individual title by shooting a 77. He shot an 80 in the team championship a week earlier.
Nate McCue, Brunswick, senior
McCue finished fourth in the Class A individual tournament with a 79 and shot an 84 in the team championship as the Dragons tied for second. McCue had a 38-stroke average during the season.
Tim Millett, North Yarmouth Academy, senior
Millett is a three-time All-State selection. He shot a 78 in the team states and an 85 in the Class C individual tournament.
Rocco Spizuoco, Deering, junior
Spizuoco shot 75 in the state team championship and finished second in the individual tournament a week later with a 77. He had a 37.5 stroke average during the season.
Seth Sweet, Madison, junior
Sweet won the Class C state individual title with a 73. The Bulldogs didn’t have a team this fall, but Sweet played one exhibition match and shot 33 for nine holes. He is a three-time All-State selection.
Joe Walp, Deering, junior
Walp had a 36.0-stroke average and took 191/2 points out of a possible 20 in regular-season action. Walp shot 77 in the team championship and an 80 in the individuals.
Coach of the year
Rick Altham, Gorham
The second-year coach led his team to the Class A state title. Altham stressed proper course management and staying on an even keel during the season.
