SCARBOROUGH – Two men were arrested this morning after Scarborough police were notified of a burglary in progress on West Beech Ridge Road, according to a press release from the Scarborough Police Department.

Mark Posson, 41, of Limington, and Matthew Davis, 23, of Gorham were arrested on charges of burglary, theft, criminal mischief and violation of bail after being apprehended by Saco police just after 9:30 a.m.

Police had just been notified about the burglary by a neighbor who saw two male suspects leave the scene in an older blue Ford Ranger pickup truck. Police stopped the truck on Portland Road, and all the stolen items were recovered.

Posson and Davis were transported to Cumberland County Jail. Davis was additionally charged with an arrest warrant for theft out of Portland.
