AUGUSTA — The Bicycle Coalition of Maine is getting a new executive director.

The statewide advocacy group says Nancy Grant will start in her new role in early 2011. She replaces Alison Vogt, who is moving out of state after nearly three years on the job.

Grant has been the coalition’s board president the past two years and has a long history of bicycling advocacy.

Maine has been ranked by a national advocacy group as the nation’s third most bicycle-friendly state.
