That appeared to be the attitude among winter-weary Mainers this weekend who decided to thumb their frostbitten noses at the season’s heavy snowfall and indulge in a little outdoor fun.

WinteRush, Portland’s annual outdoor winter festival, provided plenty of opportunities for enjoying the cold and snow, from snow fort building to snow painting and snow sculpting.
