ROCKPORT — Maine Gov. Paul LePage will be speaking at the Maine Fishermen’s Forum about the importance of maintaining the state’s fishing industry and the jobs on shore it supports.
LePage will address fishermen today at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
This is the 36th year for the forum, which draws thousands of fishermen, fishery managers, scientists, seafood processors and dealers and others with an interest in commercial fishing. The three-day event kicked off Thursday and ends Saturday night.
