PORTLAND — Employees of Legacy Publishing Co. are organizing a benefit for a co-worker who lost two of her children in a house fire last month.

Two of Lorna Hogan’s six children died in the fire that destroyed their home in Lisbon Falls. Hogan, who works in sales at Legacy, is living with her four remaining children in a small apartment.

The Hogan Relief Fund Benefit will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday at the Fireside Inn & Suites. The benefit includes hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a silent auction that willl include sports memorabilia and live music by the Tony Boffa Band.

Jim DeWolfe, the company’s vice president of sales, said Legacy employees are like a family. He encouraged the larger Portland community to support Hogan’s family.

“Lorna is a wonderful mother, hard worker, valuable employee, and someone who is admired by the community,” he said.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or through www.HoganReliefFund.com.
