Marty Ryan, a former high school athletic director at Wells and Kennebunk, is among a class of 12 who will be inducted into the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Hall of Fame on Dec. 13 in Indianapolis. Ryan retired in 2009 after a 29-year career in athletic administration. He is a former president of both the NIAAA and the Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, and has served as executive director of the MIAAA since 1994.

 

Mike Dilworth carded a hole-in-one on the 16th hole at Falmouth Country Club on Thursday. He used a 9-iron for the shot, which was witnessed by Tim Smith and Dave Perry.

 

Bill Godbout aced the 164-yard eighth hole at Biddeford-Saco Country Club on Saturday. He used an 8-iron for the shot, which was witnessed by Dan Cole, Mike O’Leary and Phil Stewart.

Eric Mansfield made a hole-in-one on the 146-yard 10th hole at Biddeford-Saco Country Club on Saturday. He used an 8-iron for the shot which was witnessed by Terry Deleo, Dick Buffum and Gary Ackendorf.

 

Colin Geiger of Bath scored his first hole-in-one on the par-3 fourth hole at Toddy Brook Golf Course in North Yarmouth on July 30 during the Steve Morris Golf Tournament, a fundraiser for North Yarmouth Academy. Geiger used an 8-iron for the 151-yard shot, which was witnessed by Nic Lolar, James Sterling and Chris Conway.
