BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School boys basketball team scored 24 points in the third quarter for a come- from- behind 60- 55 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference victory on Tuesday.

The win gives the Dragons a 10-5 record, with Lewiston slated to visit Brunswick on Friday in a key KVAC clash. The Blue Devils are currently second in the Eastern Maine Class A Heal Point Standings, while the Dragons are sixth. Lewiston defeated Brunswick 59-51 on Dec. 30.

The teams were tied at 14 after a quarter, with the Vikings taking a 25-24 lead to the half. The Dragons assumed a 48-42 lead after 24 minutes.

Garrett Erb led Brunswick with 16 points, with Mitch Black adding 13 and Ryan Black 12. Trent Anderson chipped in seven points, while Alex Viola came off the bench to add six.

Josh MacDonald paced Oxford Hills ( 4- 11) with 13 points. John Frechette had nine, Deric Hanscom eight and Matt Beauchesne seven.
