POWNAL — International family and folk dances will take place Sunday at Mallett Hall on Route 9.
A family dance begins at 5:30 p.m. The fee to participate is $2 per person. Those who are “mostly carried” get in free. The dance is open to all ages. An international folk dance is scheduled to run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“Enjoy traditional music and dance from the Balkans, Israel, France, Greece, and around the world,” a release from organizers states.
Mixed level dances will be taught from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by requests. Admission costs $5 for adults or $3 for children. The fees include participation in the family dance.
