Aranka Matolcsy, visual arts administrator for the Norway Arts Festival, has stepped down from her position.

In a letter to newspapers today, she wrote that “unfortunate circumstances” have forced her to withdraw.

“My apologies for any inconvenience to the hundreds of exhibitors I have worked with over the last five years,” she wrote.

The Western Maine Art Group runs the festival. No other details were available.
