Maine native Jeanne Hulit has been named the Small Business Admistration’s associate administrator for the Office of Capital Access.
U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine, said that in her new role Hulit will manage and oversee the agency’s programs and operations designed to expand access to capital for America’s entrepreneurs and small-business owners.
Her responsibilities will include the agency’s loan and microloan programs, credit risk management and financial programs operations centers.
Hulit had been serving as the Small Business Administration’s Region 1 administrator since 2009.
