SCARBOROUGH – A detached garage on Pleasant Hill Road was destroyed by a fire this afternoon.
Police said the fire was reported about 4:40 p.m. and crews had it under control a little more than a half hour later, but by that time the structure at 178 Pleasant Hill Road was a total loss.
Police said no one was injured, and they didn’t have an estimate of the value of the building.
They also said the cause was unknown, but investigators would try to determine how the fire started in the next few days.
