BATH — The United Methodist Church on Oak Grove Avenue will be holding its local Food Bank Drive at several locations in Bath on Saturday.

Food can be dropped off in front of Brackett’s Market, Shaw’s supermarket and City Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This church has carried out this food drive every year for the past 10-plus years. In addition to the downtown food drive, the church congregation collects food from January through March to be delivered to the Food Bank every spring. It is the congregation’s way of “feeding the 5000” as Jesus did, according to a news release. Anyone who wishes to join in this effort can get the information by calling 443-4707.
