FREEPORT — Freeport Middle School will stage “Seussical Jr., The Musical” at 7 p.m. today and Saturday at Mast Landing School.

“The show follows Horton the Elephant as he does his best to save the planet of Who from a vicious vulture, meddling monkeys and of course, the scheming Sour Kangaroo,” a release from the school states. “Expect appearances from many beloved Dr. Seuss characters, including Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird and the Cat in the Hat.
