BRUNSWICK — The University of Maine Symphonic Band, under the direction of Christopher White, will perform at Crooker Theater at 7 p.m. Monday.

The ensemble is the premier concert band of the University of Maine. They play throughout New England, performing advanced wind band literature, including the works of John Philip Sousa, Philip Sparke, Samuel Hazon, Gordon Jacob and others.

The Brunswick High School Wind Ensemble will open the concert.

Admission is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to help fund the BHS Instrumental Music Department’s trip to Williamsburg, Va.
