TOPSHAM — As part of its celebration of National Library Week, Topsham Public Library invites the public to use its “old-fashioned” photo booth between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Town officials, including selectmen, teachers, principals and the fire chief, are scheduled to be on hand. Participants will receive a strip of six photos and can have a photo of themselves added to a “You belong @ the library” poster.

First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries throughout the country each April. The Topsham Public Library is celebrating all week with programs for adults, teens and children, including a reading by local poet Pam Burr Smith; financial literacy workshops; historical society presentations; teen book discussions; Lego play; craft activities; and a reception for the “Joy of the Lens” photo exhibit from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Topsham Public Library is located at 25 Foreside Road. For more information, call 725- 1727 or visit www.topshamlibrary.org.
