BRUNSWICK — The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, located at 36 Old Portland Road in Brunswick, has completed a major renovation, according to a news release.

The ultra-bright design is part of Marriott’s vision to become the most relevant brand. The package is called “The Green Tea” décor. Green tea is one of the most beneficial drinks available. Although this décor can’t boast of the same results, it does reinvigorate travelers.

General Manager Jason Green said, “The new design has been very well received. It takes this property to a new level. Marble floors, vibrant colors and new furniture makes us feel brand-new.”

“Maine Course Hospitaility Group (MCHG) made a significant investment in the complete remodeling of this Marriott hotel. This major project was a complete room makeover, including carpet, paint, wall vinyl, furniture, draperies and more. New LCD TVs are in rooms as well. The public space had a top-to-bottom makeover including furniture,” said Sean Riley, president of MCHG.

“This hotel has been very popular for Bowdoin (College) parents as well as wedding groups,” said Green. “Return guests will be pleasantly surprised with the significant changes.”

The Freeport-based Maine Course Hospitality Group owns and operates Marriot and Hilton-branded hotels throughout New England, as well as independent hotels.
