POWNAL — A family dance, followed by an international folk dance, will take place May 20 at Mallett Hall, 429 Hallowell Road.
The family dance begins at 5:30 p.m. It will focus on community celebrations from around the world. All are welcome. No partners are needed. Admission costs $2.
An international folk dance will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Music from the Balkans, Israel, France, Greece and around the world will be featured. Mixed-level dances will be taught, followed by requests. Beginners are welcome.
