BRUNSWICK — Between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday, Henry and Marty Restaurant and Catering, 61 Maine St., will unveil a new work by Brunswickbased sculptor and Bowdoin College art professor John Bisbee.

Restaurant owners Paul Hollingsworth and Aaron Park commissioned this large-scale installation for their Maine Street eatery. Bisbee will be in attendance to answer questions and speak about his untitled work. The restaurant will be closed for dinner service during the event with a cash bar available.

For this new piece, Bisbee burned planes of wood with branding irons forged from bright common nails.

Select sculptures from Bisbee’s “Icon” series are currently featured at the restaurant and will remain on exhibit during Monday’s event.
