WISCASSET — The 111th annual Wiscasset High School alumni banquet is scheduled for June 2 in the Wiscasset High School gymnasium.
A social time begins at 5 p.m. A buffet dinner provided by Chip’s Chow Hall of Wiscasset will be served at 6 p.m. A program will follow.
Alumni historians will set up historical displays. School administrators, officers of the alumni association, the graduating class president and current visiting foreign students will make speeches. Scholarships are given, and a roll call of all classes in attendance is done with short stories from representatives of the 25- and 50-year classes.
The Wiscasset Alumni Association invites any Wiscasset graduate, GED recipient or graduate of another high school, who attended Wiscasset High School or Wiscasset Academy for at least two years to join. Dues are $5 per year.
Dinner costs $17 by advance reservation only. All members are allowed to bring a spouse or guest for the cost of the second meal.
