BRUNSWICK — Milestones Birth and Family Wellness Center, a new business located at Fort Andross in Brunswick, has announced it will be opening its doors for a grand opening celebration on Saturday, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Milestones will be offering food, henna art, music, raffles and more at the event, as well as a chance to meet and greet the Milestones Birth professionals and make community connections with families in the area.

According to a news release, Milestones is a collaboration between three birth professionals, Tiffany Lee-Avery, Gina Forbes and Elsa Levy. The three have combined experience of more than 30 years of birth work, including birth and postpartum doula, childbirth education and midwifery care.

“We are so excited to be offering our services to the Mid-coast population,” said Forbes. “We are passionate about our work and have a lot to offer. We have seen a lot of positive feedback from the community so far, and hope to grow into the place where people from all backgrounds and beliefs come for non-judgmental, open and honest information about pregnancy, birth and parenting.”

Milestones’ mission is to help empower individuals and families around pregnancy, birth, postpartum and parenting, and to encourage community connections amongst families. Milestones offers pregnancy and birth consultations, childbirth education classes, postpartum doula support, lactation consultations, community gatherings, birth doula training workshops, and a wide variety of classes, services and events that support individuals in the childbearing year and in their lives as parents.
