GEORGETOWN — The Georgetown Historical Society will host Arthur Spiess, Maine’s senior state archaeologist from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday for a program titled “Dr. Art’s Artifacts Road Show.”

Spiess invites Georgetown residents to bring their Native American artifacts to the Georgetown Historical Society, 20 Bay Point Road, for him to examine and share what he knows about the items.

“Because of the anticipated interest, this event is limited to Georgetown property owners and those who plan to attend are asked to please limit their items to just a few,” a release from the society states.
