HARPSWELL — The Islands Community Church on Bailey Island has announced its preaching schedule for June.
On Sunday, the Rev. Elizabeth Peterson will lead worship during the 9:30 a.m. service.
The guest preacher on June 17 will be the Rev. Andy Stinson. Cindy Baumgartner will preach on June 24.
Islands Community is a non-denominational church based on the teachings of the Bible. The church is led by a board who invite ordained ministers, lay people and chaplains to celebrate the service, according to a news release. Outreach and community service are important aspects of the church mission.
Communion is offered monthly on the first Sunday. Children attend the beginning of the service and, during the school year, attend Sunday School on the first and third Sundays of the month.
