FREEPORT — South Freeport Congregational Church is hosting its fourth annual Vacation Bible School program, June 18 to 22.
The underwater theme is “Operation Overboard: Going Deep with God.”
VBS is broken into three age groups: pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, grades 1 and 2, and grades 3 to 5.
The camp is run by volunteers and the South Freeport Church staff. Due to “snow day make-ups,” VBS will begin later on Monday, June 18, with a dive boat dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. The program will continue Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon each day.
The cost per camper is $60. With thanks to Aussie Aquariums in Freeport, there will be a live saltwater tank including clownfish at the event.
