FALMOUTH — A selfguided tour of a dozen Falmouth gardens will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 30, rain or shine. Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Falmouth Memorial Library and St. Mary’s Garden Club in Falmouth.

The garden locations will remain a secret until the morning of the tour, but several of the gardens offer spectacular ocean views.

Two authors — Judy Paolini, author of “The Inspired Garden,” and Lisa Colburn, author of “The Maine Garden Journal” — will sign their books at different gardens on the tour.

The gardens featured include a black garden, a secret garden, rose gardens, a parterre garden, a glade garden and a nationally recognized artist’s personal sculpture garden, along with stonework, ocean overlooks and neighboring gardens with connecting paths.

Garden tour tickets are on sale now. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 the day of the tour. Tickets can be purchased at Estabrook’s, O’Donal’s Nursery, Skillins Greenhouses, Allen, Sterling & Lothrup or at the library. They can also be purchased online with a credit card at the library’s website, www.Falmouth- MemorialLibrary.org.

Tickets will be available after 9 a.m. June 30 at the library on Lunt Road. No pets are allowed on the tour, and no refunds will be given.

For more information, visit the library’s website or call 781-2351.
