THE PHIPPSBURG LAND TRUST will host a walk through its Bijhouwer Forest preserve on Saturday. The preserve includes this 100-foot rock wall and a waterfall. Participants should meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Phippsburg Town Office, 1042 Main Road, to carpool to the Bijhouwer Forest, which has limited parking. The complete loop trail covers about 1.7 miles and is of moderate difficulty. A half-mile walk just to a mountain laurel stand within the preserve also will be offered.
