To the editor:

I attended “25 Years of Rock” and Roll at Harmony Hall in North Yarmouth in April.

It was quite a drive, but it was worth it. The band started the evening on a high with some Beatles tunes, and they never let down.

Band members were familiar to me, but most of the performers were not. Studio Theatre had done an amazing job advertising auditions.

One after another, the performers were top notch. There was not a weak link as the performers moved from featured soloists to backup singers and group acts. They all had good voices and high energy that matched the band. There were appropriate and effective projections.

People came to dance, and dance they did. The evening was a delight both from the dance floor and from being a toe-tapping observer in the audience.

Bath people are fortunate that this show is coming to the Chocolate Church Arts Center for Heritage Days.

Plan to attend “25 Years of Rock and Roll” at the Chocolate Church at 7 p.m. Thursday — and wear your dancing shoes!
