BRUNSWICK — Lexie Bernier, a soon-to-be freshman at Brunswick High School, is heading to the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships in Baltimore next week. The event will take place from July 23 to July 29 on the campus of Morgan State University.

The Bernier family is scheduled to hold a car wash fundraiser at the Pizza Hut on Bath Road this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds will be used for travel and hotel accommodations.

Lexie will participate in the shot put and discus competitions. Those wishing to donate can call 837-5753.
