BRUNSWICK WOMEN’S HISTORY, LOOP B: Join Professor Polly Kaufman for the second half of the Brunswick Women’s History Trail on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. Winding through downtown Brunswick, this walking tour uncovers the stories of Brunswick’s working women. The women pictured above are working at the Dennison Manufacturing Co. building, which was located in the Dunlap Block on Maine Street. Founded in Brunswick, the company initially made paper boxes as shown here; in 1990 it merged with Avery to become one of the largest paper office supply companies in the world. The tour will begin at the Pejepscot Historical Society at 159 Park Row in Brunswick. Admission is $2 in advance, $4 on the day of the tour, and free for PHS members. Space is limited, so call 729-6606 to register.
