Specifically, the editorial calls "sketchy" ads by the National Republican Senatorial Committee that are attacking King’s involvement with the Record Will wind project in Roxbury. The editorial notes that the ads lean heavily on a report by the House Oversight Committee, which is chaired by U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., "a regular recipient of oil and gas industry contributions."

The editorial concludes that the ad has "thrown truth to the wind."
