SCARBOROUGH – Rachel Wallace and Grace Whelan scored Saturday to lead undefeated Scarborough to a 2-0 victory against Windham in an SMAA field hockey game.

Wallace assisted on Whelan’s goal for the Red Storm (11-0) against Windham (3-8-1). 

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3, FALMOUTH 1: Kendra Fox assisted on first-half goals by Skye Dole and Kylie Locke to lead the Raiders (9-1) past the Yachtsmen (5-4-2) at Fryeburg.

Emily Davidson extended the lead to 3-0, assisted by Makayla Frost.

Younjin Kim scored for Falmouth with 2:20 left. 

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, WELLS 0: Lauren Steidl one-timed a pass from Jane Coffrin into the net 1:30 into the match for the first of her five goals as the Capers (5-5) beat Wells (1-8) at Cape Elizabeth.

Coffrin finished with two assists. Taylor Herrera also had an assist.

Juliann Ayers of the Capers stopped both shots she faced. Randi Albano had eight saves for the Warriors.

SOCCER

FALMOUTH 3, YARMOUTH 1: Georgia Babikian scored from Caitlin Bucksbaum to break a 1-1 tie with 7:57 left in the first half as the Yachtsmen (8-0-1) downed the Clippers (2-5-2) at Falmouth.

Angie Mallis and Alex Bernier also scored goals, and Bucksbaum assisted on all three goals for Falmouth.

Trailing 1-0, Yarmouth tied it when Lilly Watson scored on a direct kick.

DEERING 3, MCAULEY 0: Edie Pallozzi and Alexis Elowitch each collected a goal and an assist for the Rams (6-3), who scored three first-half goals against the visiting Lions (1-8) at Portland.

Simone Lauture also scored and Meaghan Wells added an assist. 

GREELY 4, YORK 0: Izzy Hutnak had two goals to lead the Rangers (6-3) over the Wildcats (4-3-1) at Cumberland.

Mykaela Twitchell and Leah Young also scored.

Caton Beaulieu recorded nine saves for the shutout. Maddie Patton made 10 saves for York. 

POLAND 4, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Emma Turton scored all four goals for the Knights (5-2-1) against the Raiders (0-8-1) at Poland.

Sarah Bolduc, Emily Bolduc and Paxton Arsenault had assists.

Haley Whitworth needed two saves for the shutout. Elle Burbank made nine stops for Fryeburg. 

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 2, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Alex Wahlstrom scored with 4:14 left as the Panthers (2-7) beat the Rangers (0-7-1) at Yarmouth.

After Jesse Batchelder gave Traip a 1-0 lead early in the second half, Melanie Regan answered off a corner kick from Wahlstrom.

Scout Fishman had four saves for NYA. Eileen Macomber collected eight for Traip. 

RICHMOND 3, GREENVILLE 0: Three players scored and Kelsie Obi made two saves to lead the Bobcats (10-0) over the Lakers (6-2) at Greenville.

Emily Leavitt, Amber Loon and Noell Acord scored for Richmond.

Molly Foley had 12 saves for Greenville. 

LISBON 3, OAK HILL 1: Kayla Angelico scored two goals and Kailyn Hill added another to lead the Greyhounds (9-0-1) over Oak Hill (6-5).

Courtney Martel had five saves and Paige Galligan added an assist for Lisbon.

Julie Morneault scored for Oak Hill with an assist from Brittaney Marquis.

BIDDEFORD 3, WINDHAM 0: Autumn Dube dominated the net, recording 11 kills and blocking two hits as the Tigers (9-0) swept Windham (2-7), 25-7, 25-12, 25-16 at Biddeford.

Mariah Hebert assisted on 15 kills and was 12 of 12 on serves with seven aces.

FRIDAY’S FIELD HOCKEY

WAYNFLETE 0, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: The Flyers (6-3-2) and Rangers (5-4-1) played to a scoreless draw in a game that was called at halftime because of unsafe conditions from inclement weather. 

PORTLAND 2, BONNY EAGLE 0: Isabelle DiMillo and Carissa Porcaro scored first-half goals to lead the Bulldogs (2-8-1) over the visiting Scots (1-7-2). 

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Mackenzie Rague had two goals and an assist as the Seagulls (2-9) edged the Patriots (0-11) at Old Orchard Beach.

Jamie Boulos put Gray-New Gloucester ahead with 12:56 left in the first half. Rague scored off an assist from Jamie Crowley to tie it 3:21 before halftime.

Gray-New Gloucester regained the lead after 2:29 ofthe second half on Kelsey Pelton’s goal, but the Seagulls answered with three goals over a 12-minute span.
